Manuscript Submission

Authors are encouraged to submit their research articles, reviews, and other relevant contributions to "Water and Environmental Challenges" through our online submission system. Submissions should adhere to the guidelines provided in our Guide for Authors page.

Initial Review

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial review by our Editorial Team to ensure it meets the basic criteria for publication. This review assesses the manuscript's suitability in terms of scope, originality, and adherence to formatting guidelines. Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors for revisions or rejected.

Single-Blind Peer Review

All manuscripts meeting the initial review criteria will be subjected to a single-blind peer review process. Reviewers will have access to the author's details, while the reviewer's identity will remain anonymous to the author. We select experts in the relevant field to provide detailed feedback on the manuscript's scientific quality, methodology, clarity, and relevance. Authors can expect constructive feedback to help improve their work.

Author Revisions

Authors will receive peer reviewers' comments and suggestions and are encouraged to make necessary revisions to their manuscripts. They should resubmit their revised manuscripts within the stipulated timeframe. The resubmitted manuscripts will then undergo a second round of peer review if necessary.

Editorial Decision

The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Board, will make the final decision on whether to accept or reject a manuscript based on peer reviewer comments, revisions, and overall quality. Authors will be informed of the editorial decision as promptly as possible.

Publication

Accepted manuscripts will be prepared for publication, and authors will be provided with proof copies for final approval. Published articles will be accessible to a global audience through our journal's website.
